Charles Troxell enters his eighth season as the Head Coach of the MACU Lady Mustangs for the 2019-20 season.  Coach T has more than 15 years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels.  

During his tenure as the Head Coach at MACU, Troxell has seen four players named to the USCAA All Academic Team, three named as USCAA Players of the Week, four named as an USCAA All-American Honorable Mention and one named as an USCAA 2nd Team All-American.  His time at MACU is highlighted by the program's first tournament championship earned at the 2016 Davis College Tip-off Tournament following a 79-67 win over Davis College.  Coach T earned his first collegiate victory against Christendom College on January 19, 2013, and the program's first win over a NCAA Division III program defeating the University of Valley Forge by a score of 56-50.  During the 2016-17 season, Troxell helped guide the Lady Mustangs to a program best 11 wins including a 9-3 record in USCAA competition.

A 2007 graduate of Liberty University with a BS in Religion specializing in Youth Ministry, Troxell currently resides in Elizabeth City with his wife Jessica and children, Noah, and Leia.  Coach Troxell was ordained to the ministry in the summer of 2008 and is currently serving as the Youth Pastor at Berea Baptist Church.  In addition to his duties with Women's Basketball, Troxell serves as the Sports Information Director for MACU Athletics.  

Coach Troxell is a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and the College Sports Information Directors of America(CoSIDA).
